Christopher Williams is co-founder of PROVEN Investments Limited (PIL) and the President & Chief Executive Officer of PROVEN Management Limited (Investment Managers for PIL); where he is responsible for directing and driving the performance of PIL, parent company of PROVEN Wealth Limited. Chris has an illustrious business career as an Executive driving business value in leading financial institutions in Jamaica with over 15 years’ experience in Merchant Banking, Asset Management and Stock Brokerage in the Jamaican and Cayman Islands capital markets. He sits on several Boards and currently Chairs – Ja. Assoc. for the Deaf; PROVEN REIT; and Branson Centre for the Caribbean.
Garfield “Garry” Sinclair is currently Chief Executive Officer of The Bahamas Telecommunications Co. Ltd. and Vice President of the Northern Cluster of Cable & Wireless Communications, which includes Antigua, Anguilla, Cayman, British Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands, Montserrat and St. Kitts. He also held the position of Managing Director of FLOW Jamaica, to which he was appointed in October 2010, when the Company was known as LIME. Garry has over 36 years of experience in business management.
Prior to his appointment at LIME, where he is also known as ‘Team Captain’, Garry became a member of the pioneering team that established Dehring Bunting & Golding Limited (DB&G), one of the country’s first investment banks. Garry worked with DB&G for more than 13 years and was eventually appointed President and Chief Operating Officer. Licensed as a CPA in 1993, Garry holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from San Diego State University and an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Garry serves as Director of FLOW’s subsidiaries and several other local organizations and publicly listed companies including PROVEN Investments Limited and PROVEN Wealth Limited. He is Chairman of the Jamaica Stock Exchange Pension Fund and Kingston Properties.
Garry is a sports enthusiast and aligned to his belief in proper governance and administration of sports in Jamaica, served in various capacities within the Jamaica Football Federation for several years, until 2019.
Garry is committed to transparent leadership with his signature “straight no chaser” approach to communication. His overall leadership experience brings broad talent management, corporate governance and financial expertise.
Garry is married with five children.
Gary Barrow is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Jamaica Public Service Company Limited, the nation’s primary power supply company. In his prior appointments he served as Executive Vice President of mobile services for Telecommunication Services of Trinidad and Tobago; Senior Director of Regulatory Strategy, Cable and Wireless plc London and the President and CEO of Cable and Wireless Jamaica Limited.
Johann Heaven is currently the Group Deputy CEO for the PROVEN Group, with responsibility for overseeing the Treasury & Investments, Asset Management, Operations, IT, Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Research and Projects functions of the Group. He previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of PROVEN Wealth Limited, the Group’s wealth management company in Jamaica.
Mr. Heaven has over twenty (20) years of experience in finance and banking, specializing in financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, financial advisory, treasury and asset management, strategic planning and corporate finance. Over his career, he has played an integral role in the growth and success of the companies he has been involved with. Mr. Heaven is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification and has a master’s degree in Finance from the University of London.
John(Mitchie)Bell is a director of Advantage General Insurance Company Limited, Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited and Transjamaican Highway Limited as well as a past director of NCB Capital Markets Limited and a past Chairman of Salada Foods Jamaica Limited.He is a former partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was Lead Partner of the firm’s Financial Services Audit and Assurance practice for several years.
He was educated at The Lodge School in Barbados and later at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science(Hons) degree in Economics and Accounting. He is a Certified Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.
Ms. Lisa Gomes joined the Chukka Caribbean Adventures Group Limited (CCA) as Group Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this Ms. Gomes worked in the Hospitality Sector for over 5 years with Sandals Resorts International as Director of Finance and Planning where she served as an integral member of the team that negotiated and accomplished the expansion of the group into the Eastern Caribbean.
Lisa has over 30 years of experience in Finance, Investment Banking and Pension Fund Management with one of the Caribbean’s largest integrated financial conglomerates Guardian Holdings Limited, where she served for 9 years as President of Guardian Asset Management Jamaica Limited (GAMJA). Of note, Lisa was responsible for driving GAMJA’s growth in shareholders equity from J$100M to J$1Billion and piloted the successful and profitable sale of the company in 2010 when the Parent Company decided to exit the business.
Additionally, Ms. Gomes serves as Chairman of PROVEN Wealth Limited and also chairs its Audit Committee. Ms. Gomes sits on the Board of Kingston Property Limited and its Investment Committee She is a Director of Resorts Solutions Limited as well as CapSol Advisory Limited a company formed to do projects in the Tourism sector.
Marcus Steele currently serves as Managing Director of Carreras Limited and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Mr. Steele first joined Carreras Group Limited in the company’s Tobacco division, Cigarette Company of Jamaica Limited, in the capacity of Management Accountant
